Aircraft manufacturer Boeing (NYSE:BA) on Wednesday announced that it has completed the acquisition of Immedius.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Following the acquisition Immedius will be integrated into Continental DataGraphics (CDG), a subsidiary of Boeing Commercial Aviation Services. Inmedius’ president and CEO Gary L Schaffer is expected to continue to lead the business now reporting to CDG President and CEO David Malmo.
Immedius is a provider of software applications and services for the management and sharing of information and learning content. Immedius is headquartered in Pittsburgh with offices in the UK and India and has approximately 75 employees.
Boeing company CDG is a provider of technical services, technical documentation, training solutions and software solutions and is headquartered in Long Beach and currently has over 1,200 employees around the globe with offices in a number of locations across the US, the UK and India.
