Anthropic Stock Price Doesn’t Officially Exist Yet. That Hasn’t Stopped People From Trading It Anyway.

anthropic stock price

Anthropic does not have an official stock price. Not just yet. On October 26, 2026, the company submitted its S-1 to the SEC, applied for a Nasdaq listing under the ticker ANT, and completely omitted the price range, share count, and IPO date. At this point in the process, that is standard procedure. The extent to which the market has already begun pricing the company—through tokenized derivatives, secondary platforms, and private market estimates that, depending on where you look, vary by a factor of more than twenty—is not standard.

Anthropic was last listed on Forge Global, which monitors secondary transactions in private company shares, at about $589 per share, a significant increase from a previous close of about $273—a jump of more than 115% as the S-1 filing attracted attention. As of early October, the estimated price per share on the Nasdaq Private Market was closer to $85. A proxy instrument called ANTHROPIC was trading at about $992 on tokenized platforms such as those monitored by Trust Wallet. Additionally, the number was approaching $1,881 on some perpetual futures markets. There aren’t four different versions of that number. They show four distinct risk types, four distinct instruments, and four distinct liquidity levels. It would be incorrect to treat any of them as the “real” Anthropic stock price.

The company’s most recent private funding round serves as a loose anchor for all of these figures. Anthropic closed a Series H-1 in May 2026 at a post-money valuation of $965 billion, indicating that the market had already valued the company at nearly $1 trillion prior to the public filing. Anthropic was valued at $380 billion by the Series G in February of that same year. It was $61.5 billion in March 2025. Your eyes will need to adjust to the steepness of the progression. The May round was led by Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, Greenoaks, and Sequoia Capital. Since 2023, Amazon has contributed about $8 billion, with an additional $5 billion committed and up to $20 billion up for grabs. With a contractual cap of 15%, Google owns about 14% of the direct equity.

According to reports surrounding the filing, the company is now aiming for a public valuation of between $1.5 trillion and $2 trillion, which, at the highest end, would surpass SpaceX’s post-IPO market cap and make the Anthropic offering the largest in history. When SpaceX first launched, its shares were priced at $135. The implied share price math at a $2 trillion valuation, depending on how many shares end up in the float, places potential IPO pricing in a range that most retail investors won’t find easy to act on in size. However, Anthropic hasn’t set a number.

Before this company even goes public, a lot of secondary market activity has developed around it for a reason. Anthropic employs 5,300 people, has over 1,900 enterprise clients who pay more than $1 million a year, and generated $16.3 billion in revenue in the first half of 2026, up from $1.16 billion in the same period the previous year. The operating loss significantly decreased. When you realize that about $72.4 billion of the $80.7 billion net loss came from accounting charges related to the increasing value of convertible notes rather than actual cash leaving the company, it becomes less concerning. For the first half, operating cash flow was positive by $3.9 billion. When establishing positions in private markets prior to the public debut, institutional investors base their decisions on these figures.

For the majority of people who are currently inquiring about Anthropic’s stock price, it is important to have a clear understanding of secondary market pricing. Accredited investor status is typically required for platforms such as Forge and Nasdaq Private Market. Tokenized instruments have unique risks related to counterparty reliability, liquidity, and custody. None of these are comparable to purchasing ANT on Nasdaq following the IPO prices, which, according to reports, may occur the week of November 16 or around Thanksgiving, though this is not confirmed.

There’s a sense that the market’s expectation of Anthropic’s public debut has turned into a sort of market as we’ve watched this develop over the past few weeks. The news of a filing that included no price, no share count, and no listing date caused secondary prices to move more than 100% in a single day; this is more about positioning than valuation. The real price discovery will start when ANT eventually opens for trading. Up until that point, everything is merely an educated guess.
