The Pall-Ex Group has strategically responded to the challenges presented by Brexit by inaugurating a robust network within the Republic of Ireland. This move aims to establish a ‘permanent post-Brexit solution’ thereby circumventing the new customs and border restrictions imposed by the UK’s exit from the European Union. Operating out of Dublin, Pall-Ex Ireland is expanding its reach, already incorporating 16 members with plans to integrate more.
The official inauguration took place on 1 May at one of the network’s warehouses. This significant occasion was witnessed by an assembly of staff, network affiliates, and a spectrum of political figures from local, national, and European identities. A ceremonial ribbon-cutting underscored the event, with speeches from pivotal participants.
Jack Chambers, serving as Ireland’s Minister of State at the Department of Transport, which holds special responsibility for international and road transport logistics, was notably present. His participation, alongside the operational team of Pall-Ex Ireland, signified governmental support and recognition of the network’s potential impact.
