Ausa, established in 1956, has over the years evolved from manufacturing microcars to specialising in wheeled dumpers, rough terrain forklifts, and telehandlers. With a production capacity exceeding 12,000 machines annually, Ausa operates from its headquarters in Barcelona, with subsidiaries extending across key international markets including the UK, France, Germany, the US, and China.
In 2023, Ausa reported sales amounting to €132 million, supported by a workforce of approximately 350 employees. Its significant partnership with Oshkosh dates back to 2020, whereby Ausa began manufacturing JLG-branded SkyTrak compact telehandlers, marking an earlier collaboration between the entities.
Ramon Carb, the CEO of Ausa, remarked, “We constantly pursue excellence in our products, services and business.” The deeper integration with Oshkosh is set to amplify the reach of Ausa’s products, aligning with mutual objectives shared by both companies. This merger is anticipated to be finalised within the next 90 days, further solidifying their partnership.
