Miles & Stockbridge has continued the expansion of its DC office with the addition of government contracts, corporate and compliance counsel Ted Ebert, former Lockheed Martin executive, the company said.
In his role, Ebert is to focus on government contracts, mergers & acquisitions, risk management and internal investigations.
Ebert joins Miles & Stockbridge from Lockheed Martin Corporation, which specializes in research, design, development, manufacture and integration of technology systems, products and services for the aeronautics industry. At Lockheed, he served in senior legal and executive positions. Most recently, Ebert served as assistant general counsel for Lockheed´s technical services business segment that provides technical services and operation assistance to United States government and commercial customers.
Miles & Stockbridge´s government contracts practice group works for clients doing business with government agencies and organizations on procurement and grant issues; litigation of bid protests, claims, and other contract-related disputes before international, federal, state and local forums; and assists clients with internal investigations, mandatory disclosures, and suspension and debarment proceedings.
