American Signal Corporation (ASC), a global provider of the design and manufacturing of mass notification and alert systems, announced a deal with Aviano Air Base that involved the implementation of a brand new custom NEXGen Interface, as well as additional upgrades to additional notification and alert systems at the base, the company said.
The CompuLertâ„¢ NEXGen software platform offers simple, effective solutions for monitoring and controlling emergency siren systems, while maintaining a user-friendly administration interface. The custom-designed solution for Aviano Air Base gives the base greater control over its mass notification systems.
Mass notification systems designed with NEXGen are able to employ a wide range of ASC products, covering any and all mass notification needs. Examples of ASC products that can be paired with NEXGen include indoor and outdoor sirens, outdoor digital signage, phones, fax machines and mobile alert technologies. NEXGen also provides world-class security to protect sensitive data.
In addition to providing the custom NEXGen system, ASC also updated and upgraded the existing mass notification technologies the base already had in place, including a brand new CSC-960s and radios.
