Boeing [NYSE: BA] and India have taken a step toward modernizing the helicopter fleet of Indian Air Force, the company said.
The company and the Indian Air Force first flights of Apache and Chinook helicopters destined for delivery next year.
Boeing said these aircraft will play vital roles with the Indian armed forces.
India will receive 22 AH-64E Apache attack, and 15 CH-47F(I) Chinook transport, helicopters, to begin in 2019.
