- The contest, accessed via the Magic Ahoy! app, is inspired by the ‘Aladdin’ stage show on Disney Fantasy and includes interactive challenges.
- Agents stand to earn ‘Mickey Stamps’ through various tasks, with prizes such as cruises and vouchers at stake.
- The incentive aims to engage and educate agents on Disney Fantasy’s offerings, enhancing their ability to market and sell.
- Results will be shared on Disney’s designated social media platform, fostering a sense of community among participating agents.
In a bid to enhance engagement among travel agents, Disney Cruise Line has rolled out a new competition centred around its highly anticipated Europe season, set to commence in summer 2025. This innovative contest is not only a promotional strategy but an educational tool, intended to deepen agents’ knowledge and enthusiasm for the Disney Fantasy ship and its offerings.
The competition, accessible via the Magic Ahoy! app, draws inspiration from the beloved ‘Aladdin’ stage show onboard the Disney Fantasy. It comprises 20 engaging challenges and a culminating quiz, each designed to educate participants while providing a fun and interactive experience. Through these activities, agents can earn ‘Mickey Stamps’, each serving as a step closer to the coveted prizes.
Starting on May 21, travel agents will begin with a learning module, focusing on the nuances of Disney Fantasy. Subsequent daily challenges, running from May 28 to June 6, will include an array of riddles, multiple-choice quizzes, and social media tasks, all tailored to enhance the participant’s familiarity with the cruise line’s European itineraries.
The culmination of this event is a final quiz slated for June 7-8, testing the agent’s comprehensive understanding of the Disney Fantasy. Rewards for successful participants are as enticing as the competition itself, ranging from a Caribbean cruise on the Disney Treasure to a European journey aboard the Disney Fantasy in August 2025. Furthermore, a £250 Vex voucher is up for grabs, redeemable across a variety of popular retailers and dining establishments.
Disney Cruise Line has further incentivised the initiative by offering additional ‘Mickey Stamps’ for bookings made between May 17, 2025, and September 30, 2025. The top 15 agents with the most stamps at the end of the competition will be recognised and rewarded on the company’s agent Facebook page on June 19.
Torey Kings-Hodkin, trade sales and marketing director for Disney Destinations International, expressed enthusiasm for the initiative, highlighting its dual role in both educating and incentivising their trade partners. ‘We can’t wait to see the reaction to this competition,’ she remarked, underscoring the potential for enhanced engagement and knowledge-sharing among agents eager to promote the 2025 Disney Fantasy sailings.
The Disney Cruise Line competition promises to bolster agent expertise while rewarding their efforts, paving the way for a successful 2025 season.
