JetSmarter has appointed JoaquÃn Aviñó as senior vice president of business development & affinity partnerships, the company said.
As SVP, Aviñó will focus on new distribution channels through travel agencies, oversee all affinity partnerships with luxury brands, manage new ground experiences for JetSmarter members, and enhance corporate account membership and product offerings.
Prior to his role at JetSmarter, he served as vice president of revenue management and supplier optimization for American Express Global Business Travel. In his role, he led a global team that focused on revenue optimization, including supporting all supplier contract negotiations and managing a private fares program.
JetSmarter is a mobile marketplace for private jets that offers both custom charters and unused seats across thousands of flights.
