Remote field communications provider DataPath, Inc. has been selected as the sole prime provider of satellite communications support services under the US Army´s Global Tactical Advanced Communication Systems (GTACS) contract, the company said.
The award combines field support service needs previously addressed by multiple contract vehicles into a single program, along with new and emerging requirements. The total value of the four-and-a-half-year contract is estimated at USD363 million.
Through this single largest task order on the GTACS contract, DataPath will provide expert field support services for tactical satellite systems deployed globally by the US military. DataPath is a provider of every class of satellite system procured under the GTACS contract including man-pack terminals, fly-away antennas, trailer-based terminals, mobile earth terminal vehicles, and large-scale earth terminals. That means the DataPath team has the expertise to install, maintain and repair all the equipment deployed in the Army´s Warfighter Information Network — Tactical (WIN-T).
DataPath specializes in advanced communications solutions tailored to the unique requirements of aerospace, broadcast, government, and infrastructure clients.
