LMI Aerospace Inc. (NASDAQ: LMIA) has reported net income of USD0.3 million, or USD0.02 per diluted share, in the third quarter of 2016, compared to net income of USD0.03 million, or break-even per diluted share, in the third quarter of 2015, the company said.
In the third quarter of 2016, the company reported net sales were USD89.7 million, compared to USD95.6 million in the third quarter of 2015.
Operating income for the third quarter of 2016, excluding USD0.1 million of net unfavorable, non-recurring items, was USD5.8 million. Diluted earnings per share, excluding the impact of non-recurring items, was USD0.04 in the third quarter of 2016. Operating income and operating income excluding unusual items were both USD6.1 million for the third quarter of 2015.
