Knowledge Vault said that Tata Steel is using Knowledge Vault for administration and control of its Office 365 implementation in Europe.
The international steel producer required greater insight into the security and administration aspects of Office 365 than was available with the native tools. The Knowledge Vault Office 365 connector provides them with full visibility in their Office 365 environment via a simple web interface.
After the company migrated 25,000 users to Office 365 they needed to effectively manage the new cloud-based environment and integrate the new services into their existing end-user support organization, which required fine-grained controls and the ability to delegate administrative actions. There was also a need to keep close tabs on service utilization from a security perspective.
Tata Steel is Europe´s second largest steel producer with factories in the Netherlands, UK and other locations throughout Europe. The company delivers products to demanding markets like construction, automotive, packaging, transportation, energy and aerospace.
Knowledge Vault is a cloud-based auditing, alerting, reporting, alerting and management platform for organizations that want an easy and affordable way to optimize and secure their Microsoft Office 365 application suite and other popular cloud-based mail and storage systems.
