China-based third-party data center service provider GDS (GDS Services Ltd.) Alibaba Group´s cloud computing business unit and AliCloud have announced the formation of a strategic partnership to promote the development of enterprise-level hybrid cloud services in China, the company said.
The partnership will combine GDS´s extensive high performance data center infrastructure and CloudMiXâ„¢ service platform and AliCloud´s leading cloud computing technology to provide unique one-stop management solutions in the areas of cloud operation, maintenance and procurement services.
GDS has been at the forefront of the data center industry in China for the past 15 years. It currently operates high performance data centers in major cities nationwide, providing secure and reliable services to over 250 top-tier financial institutions and large enterprises.
In the future, GDS and AliCloud will carry out further in-depth cooperation based on industry trends and market changes, including more cloud data center deployment both in China and overseas, as well as more enterprise-level hybrid cloud service offerings to meet the needs of various industry sectors.
