AT&T (NYSE: T) said it has named industry veteran Jennifer Van Buskirk Regional President-Northeast.
In this role, Van Buskirk will drive sales growth and oversee operations for AT&T´s mobility and entertainment businesses.
Prior to coming to AT&T´s Northeast region, Van Buskirk served as president of Cricket Wireless, a premium pre-paid carrier owned by AT&T. She is credited with building AT&T´s premium pre-paid wireless business from the ground up, including managing the integration and brand transition of Cricket after AT&T´s acquisition of Leap Wireless in 2014.
Van Buskirk replaces Steven J. Hodges, who has been named Senior Vice President — Customer Experience for AT&T.
Van Buskirk serves on the board of Yellow Pages Holdings, LLC. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Kennesaw State University. She and her husband of 19 years and their two children will re-locate to New Jersey.
