DynCorp International has been awarded a USD 59.4 million contract to continue supporting the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) aviation program helping suppress and control wildfires, the company said.
The competitively awarded contract has a two-year base period (January 2016 through December 2017) with three, one-year options. The company will provide for the operation and maintenance of CAL FIRE´s 52 aircraft, to include at least 144 employees (54 pilots and 90 maintenance personnel).
