Copa Holdings, S.A. (NYSE: CPA) has released preliminary passenger traffic statistics for December 2016, the airline said.
For the month of December 2016, Copa Holdings´ system-wide passenger traffic (RPMs) increased 9.0% year over year, while capacity (ASMs) increased 2.2%. As a result, system load factor for December 2016 was 81%, a 5.1 percentage point increase when compared to December 2015.
Copa Holdings is a leading Latin American provider of passenger and cargo services. Through its operating subsidiaries, it provides service to 74 destinations in 31 countries in North, Central, and South America, and the Caribbean. The company has one of the youngest and most modern fleets in the industry, consisting of 78 Boeing 737NG aircraft and 21 EMBRAER-190s.
