B. Riley Financial, Inc. (NASDAQ: RILY) B. Riley & Co., LLC (B. Riley) co-managed the underwritten public offering of 6.5 million shares of common stock for ViaSat Inc, the company said.
ViaSat priced the 6.5 million shares of its common stock at USD69.74 per share. In addition, the underwriters have exercised their option to purchase an additional 975,000 shares resulting in gross proceeds of approximately USD521.3 million. The offering closed on November 23, 2016.
ViaSat provides global broadband services and technology. The company designs satellites and secure ground infrastructure and terminal technologies coupled with its international network of managed Wi-Fi hotspots.
