Alaska Air Group has announced that Brandon Pedersen, Chief Financial Officer since 2010, plans to retire and Shane Tackett, currently Alaska´s executive vice president of planning and strategy will succeed Pedersen, the company said.
Tackett will focus on execution of the company´s business model for continued long-term growth and value for guests, employees, owners and communities.
Tackett joined Alaska in 2000 and has led in many capacities across the company. He most recently served as executive vice president of planning and strategy in 2018, leading Alaska´s labor relations team, which he will continue to lead as CFO.
Alaska Airlines and its regional partners fly 46 million guests a year to more than 115 destinations with an average of 1,300 daily flights across the United States and to Mexico, Canada and Costa Rica. With Alaska and Alaska Global Partners, guests can earn and redeem miles on flights to more than 800 destinations worldwide.
