A new €120 million print and packaging group has launched with ambitious plans to expand across the UK and Europe, bringing together four established businesses and a combined workforce of 650 people.
PXP Group – formerly Woodberry Packaging – has been created through a series of strategic acquisitions, bringing together Reelvision Print in Lancashire, Medica Packaging in Cheshire, Colorman in Ireland, and F.G. Curtis in Redhill.
The group combines specialist expertise across print and packaging, creating a broader proposition for customers across a range of sectors including pharmaceutical, healthcare and personal care.
With current turnover in excess of €120 million, PXP Group has a clear and stated goal to become a significant player across Europe with a 10% share of the pharma print and packaging market.
Group Chief Executive Officer, Peter Santo, said: “We’re bringing together four successful businesses with strong reputations, specialist expertise and loyal customer bases to create something with much greater scale and opportunity.
“Our ambition is to build a significant European print and packaging group, but we want to do that without losing the qualities that made these businesses successful in the first place. Customer service, quality, flexibility and doing the basics brilliantly are at the heart of our approach.”
The group’s UK footprint includes businesses in Lancashire, Cheshire and Surrey, alongside its established Irish operation.
Reelvision Print in Lancashire joined the group in 2024, bringing specialist expertise in flexographic printing onto cartons. The capability provides an alternative approach to carton production, offering customers greater agility, flexibility and speed.
In July 2026, PXP Group acquired both Medica Packaging in Cheshire and F.G. Curtis in Surrey.
Medica Packaging brings specialist expertise in pharmaceutical and healthcare cartons, while F.G. Curtis adds recognised expertise in cosmetics and personal care packaging, alongside a strong environmental track record.
Colorman was the first business to join the group in 2021. Based in Ireland, it has more than 50 years’ experience as a full-service print and packaging provider and provides an important platform for PXP Group’s European ambitions.
Peter continued: “The real opportunity comes from the combination of these businesses. Customers can access different print and packaging technologies and specialist expertise within one group, helping to simplify supply chains and create greater efficiencies.
“At the same time, we have created a business with the scale to invest in people, technology and new capabilities as we continue to grow.”
Quality, compliance and continuous improvement are central to PXP Group’s strategy. All businesses within the group hold essential industry certifications and accreditations, including PS-9000 across three sites.
The group is also investing in the future of the UK’s print and packaging sector, with plans to launch an apprenticeship scheme designed to give the next generation of specialists experience across different areas of the industry.
Peter added: “We’re passionate about education and skills sharing and currently planning to launch an apprenticeship scheme. Creating the group means we have the ability to give young people unparalleled access to all areas of print and packaging, enriching their learning and delivering a 360 view of the industry.”
PXP Group officially launches on 6 October 2026 at CPHI in Milan, the world’s leading pharmaceutical event.
