Adsure Services reported an Adsure Services profit jump for the year ended 31 March 2026, with operating profit rising 18.4% to £1.07m even as revenue held almost flat at £9.97m. The group simultaneously unveiled a plan to transform itself into a cluster of specialist professional services firms built around its proprietary artificial intelligence tool, TIAA Insight.
Profit before tax rose 22.7% to £1.0m. Net profit climbed 23% to £0.75m. EBITDA grew 13% to £1.34m, lifting the margin to 13.4% from 11.8%, the third consecutive year of expansion.
Margin Gains Driven by Staffing Mix and Contract Quality
The group’s chief financial officer, Sarah Prescott, attributed the improvement to a restructuring of the workforce rather than top-line growth. ‘The principal driving force behind this margin expansion has been the realignment of our skills mix, supported by several significant strategic hires, a reduction in direct staff costs and the maintenance of strong business retention,’ she said.
Prescott added that broader business development had expanded the orderbook across both one-off engagements and long-term contracts, improving the predictability of revenue.
Growth in the housing sector, where client numbers have passed 130 organisations, largely offset softer healthcare bid volumes. Adsure’s prior-year results filing on Investegate shows the group had also begun building a foothold in fraud prevention and investigation services in the social housing sector, and had engaged with a private sector rail freight operator to enter new markets.
The prior year ended 31 March 2025 saw revenue of £10.0m, up 7.7% from £9.3m in 2024, and operating profit of £0.9m, up 61.4% from £0.6m in 2024, per the same filing.
On dividends, the group declared an interim payment of 0.29 pence per share for the period ending January 2026, paid on 19 January 2026, according to Investing.com. That compares with an interim payment of 0.786 pence per share in the prior period. The company described the reduction as reflecting a prudent approach as it invests in its ‘Fit for the Future’ strategy.
TIAA Insight and the Adsure Services Profit Pivot to AI
Central to the new strategy is TIAA Insight, developed with the University of Essex through an Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership. The tool uses a large language model trained on historic customer data to analyse risks flagged by human auditors and recommend mitigation actions, according to Investing.com’s earlier reporting on the tool’s development.
In blind testing, outputs generated by TIAA Insight were described in the prior-year results filing as ‘indistinguishable from those of a human auditor’, with an evaluation panel comparing AI recommendations against human ones without knowing the source.
The group initially plans to deploy the tool internally across TIAA’s audit and assurance work. Beyond that, Investing.com has reported, Adsure intends to offer TIAA Insight as a licensed software product to the wider industry. As part of the original grant requirements, the company expected to publish the first of two academic research papers on AI in internal audit in the second half of 2025.
A London Stock Exchange announcement dated 19 May 2026 described the initiative as a ‘Transformational Strategic Update’, noting real-world scenario testing and client involvement in the model’s development.
Chief executive Kevin Limn set out the broader ambition. ‘The Board has formally agreed a strategic vision to transform Adsure into a leading cluster of specialist, purpose-driven professional services businesses across the UK, united by a shared commitment to independence, transparency and ethical value creation,’ he said. The group intends to pursue selective acquisitions of like-minded firms alongside continued organic growth through TIAA.
Adsure’s strategy page confirms the Innovate UK partnership underpinning the technology. An investor presentation from September 2026 references plans for a standalone AI subsidiary and continued expansion into fraud prevention and investigation services, flagging these as discrete growth vectors alongside the core assurance business.
TIAA Limited, the group’s operating subsidiary, has provided business assurance services for over 20 years, tracing its origins to 1995 as an in-house internal audit function for a consortium of regulated social housing providers, per the Aquis listing page.
The pace at which Adsure converts TIAA Insight from internal tool to licensed product will be the clearest indicator of whether the AI-driven cluster strategy moves from boardroom ambition to measurable revenue.
