Authentic Brands Group has officially linked arms with Saks Global, the proprietor of the renowned Saks Fifth Avenue, to debut a new luxury entity known as Authentic Luxury Group (ALG). The endeavour is designed to offer accessible luxury brands worldwide and expand these brands into lifestyle and property sectors, optimising a global reach through its varied offerings.
ALG will feature an impressive lineup, including Barneys New York, Judith Leiber Couture, Hervé Léger, and Vince, aiming to magnify the potential of these brands across diverse domains such as fashion, retail, digital, hospitality, real estate, art, and travel. This expansive vision reflects a blend of both companies’ complementary strengths and shared commitment to excellence.
A strategic component of ALG’s expansion involves groundbreaking lifestyle developments. Highlighting this advance is the Barneys New York Residences, a series of luxury holiday apartments recently opened in Tulum, Mexico, showcasing the brand’s move beyond clothing. Additionally, Barneys has launched a pop-up store in New York, offering a fusion of art and fashion beside Fred’s coffee truck, exemplifying their innovative approach.
