Among these is Otranto, a picturesque town in the Puglia region of Italy, which will become a new port of call for certain voyages. The incorporation of Otranto enriches the already diverse experience offered by Star Clippers, known for its tall ship cruising style.
The charming town will be highlighted in Star Clippers’ 11-night itinerary titled Venice to Rome, scheduled for visits on 8 July and 26 August 2025. This itinerary also includes stops at several other attractive locations, including Mali Losinj, Hvar, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Taormina, Lipari, Amalfi, and Ponza. Prices for this cruise begin at £2,547 per person.
Furthermore, the French Riviera’s Saint Raphael will debut in the programme, with excursions planned for 15 May, 22 May, and 16 October 2025. This addition not only enhances the French section of the journey but also adds a touch of glamour associated with the Riviera. The Saint Raphael itinerary is priced from £1,620 per person.
Moreover, expanding its operations in the Mediterranean, Nice will serve as a new home-port for Star Clippers in September and October 2025. The strategic choice of Nice is expected to provide an enriched and comprehensive experience across Italy, Corsica, and the French Riviera, appealing to a wide range of cruise enthusiasts eager to explore these classic destinations.
These new routes have been announced in conjunction with the release of Star Clippers’ latest brochure, which outlines itineraries from November 2023 through March 2025.
