Spectroline´s new QUADRAN 365NDT lamp (QDR-365SC) has qualified ASTM E3022 compliant as a standard for LED UV-A lamps, the company said.
The lamp features four ultra-hi-flux UV-A LEDs plus a white light LED to switch between fluorescent inspection and flaw location. For increased flexibility, it also has a dual, high/low white light output control.
The QUADRAN features multi-LED, broad-beam UV-A (365 nm) inspection lamps. It is specifically designed to meet ASTM UV-A intensity and wavelength specifications for LPT and MPT. A certificate of conformance for ASTM E3022 standard for emission characteristics and requirements for LED UV-A lamps is supplied with each lamp.
Spectronics Corporation invented fluorescent leak detection in 1955, and remains a manufacturer of ultraviolet equipment and fluorescent dyes.
