The Residence Inn Montreal Airport and Courtyard Montreal Airport are beginning a new recycling initiative at both of the Marriott Montreal Airport locations, the company said.
Each of the hotel´s new programs focuses on reducing waste in all areas, as well as providing guests with bins and recycling stations. Between the two hotels, they now offer three charging stations for electric cars, including one designed exclusively for the Tesla.
The hotels have also put the necessary installations in all administrative and associate areas for recycling as well. The properties have already eliminated 120kg of waste per week and the goal for the next three months is to achieve twice that amount per week.
The Residence Inn Montreal Airport is an extended-stay hotel that offers studio, one- and two-bedroom suites with full kitchens, flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and separate areas for working and relaxing. The property has and indoor pool and 24-hour fitness centre, and provides a free hot breakfast buffet, and free shuttle service on request. Additional hotel amenities for extended stays include a free grocery shopping service and frequent evening socials.
