In response to increasing interest in Caribbean destinations, Norwegian Cruise Line has made the strategic decision to alter its forthcoming itineraries. The cruise company has announced the cancellation of its European voyages for the autumn of 2024, specifically affecting the Norwegian Getaway and Norwegian Epic ships.
Instead of embarking on the initially planned European routes, these two vessels will begin their Caribbean itineraries ahead of schedule. The Norwegian Getaway is set to arrive in New Orleans on 20th October and the Norwegian Epic in Port Canaveral on 30th October. This adjustment highlights the company’s adaptive strategy to cater to the preferences of its guests.
The cancellations affect the Norwegian Getaway’s European sailings between 29th September and 27th November, and those of the Norwegian Epic from 17th October to 10th November. Recognising the inconvenience caused to its customers, the cruise line is offering a complete refund to all affected passengers, supplemented by a bonus future cruise voucher.
