Innovative Eyewear has secured a Lucyd Armor Canada rollout across 345 FYihealth Group locations, marking the first national entry of its Lucyd smart eyewear range into the country’s $4.5 billion optical market. The deal lands one day after the Nasdaq-listed company reported preliminary, unaudited first-half 2026 net sales of approximately $1.77 million, up 71% year-on-year, according to Yahoo Finance.
Lucyd Armor smart safety glasses will be stocked across FYihealth’s FYidoctors and Visique clinic networks, concentrated in Canada and California. Initial product placement is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2026, sitting within Visiguard, FYihealth’s branded prescription safety eyewear programme.
The Lucyd Armor Canada Rollout in Detail
FYihealth is Canada’s largest diversified eye care group, operating the FYidoctors, Visique, BonLook and Solis Optics brands. The Visiguard programme is available across all FYidoctors and Visique locations.
Scott Shaw, VP of Retail and Merchandising at FYihealth Group, said the company was ‘thrilled to be partnering with Innovative Eyewear to bring Lucyd Armor smart safety eyewear to our customers across Canada.’ Shaw added: ‘This collaboration is a meaningful step toward expanding our offering within our Visiguard safety program and making smart safety eyewear more accessible to Canadians.’
The Canadian agreement follows a separate announcement of a 50-store test with a major US retailer, due to begin in September. Together, the two deals represent a material broadening of Innovative Eyewear’s retail footprint in North America.
Revenue Growth Underpins the Expansion Push
Innovative Eyewear reported preliminary, unaudited Q2 2026 net sales of approximately $0.99 million, the company’s twelfth consecutive quarter of year-on-year revenue growth, per Yahoo Finance. The result drove shares up 60% in US trading.
Full-year 2025 net revenue came in at approximately $2.67 million, up $1.03 million or 63% from fiscal year 2024, according to a PR Newswire release on the full-year 2025 results. Lucyd Armor, first launched in October 2024, accounted for approximately half of total smartglass units sold across that full year.
The safety glasses line has since grown faster as a share of the mix. In Q1 2026, Lucyd Armor represented approximately two-thirds of total smartglass units sold, with net revenue rising 70% year-on-year to $773,561, per Yahoo Finance’s report on the Q1 2026 results.
For context, Q2 2025 net revenue was $579,230, up 88% from Q2 2024, driven by Lucyd Armor and the Reebok Powered by Lucyd collection launched in April 2025, according to a PR Newswire release on the Q2 2025 results. The year-on-year comparison base was therefore already strong heading into the latest quarter.
Investors voted at the company’s 2025 annual meeting to rename the business Lucyd, Inc., reflecting the brand’s growing centrality to the group’s identity, according to a StockTitan summary of the 8-K filing. The company trades on Nasdaq under the ticker LUCY.
Alongside the Q2 2026 sales figures, the company announced a new Lucyd Aero smart eyewear collection, anticipated to launch in October 2026. The Lucyd Armor Canada rollout into FYihealth, the Aero launch, and the US retail test together give the company three distinct near-term distribution catalysts before the year ends.
