The Hazchem Network has taken a decisive step forward by investing more than £250,000 to completely replace its fleet of forklift trucks (FLTs). This financial outlay is aimed at bolstering the safety and efficiency of loading and unloading processes within the hub, underpinning the network’s strategic growth and operational improvement.
After evaluating several suppliers, Hazchem Network resolved to maintain its longstanding relationship with Toyota. According to the company’s managing director, Rob Symes, the choice was strongly influenced by the consistent performance of Toyota trucks and their reliable service support. “We have used Toyota trucks for many years and have always been happy with how they have performed in the hub environment,” Symes noted. This statement highlights the trust and satisfaction that Toyota has instilled in the company’s operations over time.
The endorsement from their forklift operators further cemented Toyota as the preferred supplier. The network also acknowledged the superb maintenance services provided by Toyota’s engineers, which have contributed significantly to the fleet’s longevity and reliability. This move not only showcases commitment to operational excellence but also reflects an alignment with partners who understand their business needs.
Additionally, the network has expanded its membership base, welcoming WT Transport, ABE Ledbury, and Kinaxia’s Lambert Brothers. This expansion is set to increase the reach and capability of Hazchem’s services, covering extensive postcode regions and ensuring a comprehensive logistics solution for their clients.
To complement these developments, Hazchem has rolled out a photo-on-delivery service following an upgrade to its hub system. This initiative is designed to provide customers with greater assurance and transparency, showcasing Hazchem’s dedication to enhancing customer experience through innovative solutions.
Hazchem Network’s significant investment and operational enhancements underscore its commitment to efficiency and customer satisfaction.
