Fenwick has officially opened its vastly expanded beauty hall in Newcastle, now the largest of its kind outside of London. The expansive 26,000 sq ft space features new design elements, including two enlarged atriums and a façade with 56 feet of windows overlooking Northumberland Street.
The beauty hall is home to 163 brands, offering a range that spans across makeup, skincare, couture beauty, and fragrances. Noteworthy brands such as Hourglass, Charlotte Tilbury, Le Labo, and Carolina Herrera are prominently featured. The inclusion of niche and prestige fragrance lines further enriches the hall’s diverse offerings.
Enhancing the customer experience, the hall now boasts 23 new beauty counters. Additionally, five treatment rooms provide services such as manicures, blow-drys, brow shaping, and facials. The comprehensive range of services reflects Fenwick’s ongoing evolution in beauty retail.
A significant element of Fenwick’s new offering is their collaboration with entrepreneur Sharmadean Reid’s The Stack World. As part of this partnership, Fenwick will host events and a curated photoshoot involving players from the Newcastle United Women’s football team, under the banner of their ‘Beauty with Bite’ campaign.
Hazel Ayers, director of buying and merchandising, highlighted the store’s commitment to providing an ‘unrivalled edit’ of beauty products and services, enhancing the overall in-store experience. This strategy is implemented across all eight of Fenwick’s beauty halls nationwide.
