In a bid to engage travel agents across the UK and Ireland, Celebrity Cruises has unveiled a special competition to coincide with CLIA Cruise Week. The competition is specifically designed for travel agents and promises an exciting day on the Celebrity Apex for those who excel in the challenge.
The competition will see seven winners being selected throughout the week, each earning the opportunity to bring along a colleague for a memorable experience on 23 October 2024. This initiative showcases Celebrity Cruises’ commitment to its trade partners, offering them firsthand insight into the Apex’s luxurious offerings.
To participate, agents must enter the ‘Caption This’ photo challenge. This daily contest is hosted on the exclusive Facebook group, Celebrity Loves Agents, where creativity is the key to winning. Agents are tasked with crafting inventive captions for selected photos, with the best entries each day being declared winners.
The selected winners will be treated to an all-encompassing tour of the Apex, including a lunch at one of the specialty dining venues, a cocktail tasting, and an exclusive elevated spa tour. This hands-on experience aims to equip agents with detailed knowledge of the ship’s amenities, enabling them to relay this to prospective clients more effectively.
In addition to the competition, Celebrity Cruises has announced an ongoing incentive for September, providing agents with a £50 bonus for every three bookings of Europe 2025 cruises they secure. From May 2025, the Apex is set to embark on a breathtaking itinerary encompassing the Norwegian Fjords and Belgium, catering to diverse travel interests.
