Allegiant Travel Company (NASDAQ: ALGT) has announced that Jude Bricker has resigned his position as executive vice president and chief operating officer, the airline said.
Bricker has been with Allegiant since 2006 and through a variety of leadership roles has been a key architect of the company´s growth and success.
Bricker´s departure from Allegiant was effective Friday, May 26, 2017.
Scott Sheldon, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will act as interim chief operating officer until a successor is selected.
Las Vegas-based Allegiant offers industry-low fares on an all-jet fleet while also offering other travel-related products such as hotel rooms, rental cars, and attraction tickets. Beginning with one aircraft and one route in 1999, the company has grown to over 80 aircraft and more than 300 routes across the country with base airfares less than half the cost of the average domestic roundtrip ticket.
