After a series of legal confrontations, Adidas and Kanye West, also known as Ye, have reached a resolution to their ongoing disputes. The conflicts arose following Adidas’ decision to terminate their collaborative relationship with West. This came as a direct response to antisemitic remarks he made in 2022, which prompted the company to sever ties with the artist.
Bjorn Gulden, the CEO of Adidas, publicly stated during a conference call that all issues have been resolved. He emphasised that no further legal matters remain to be addressed. The company reports that orders for approximately 4 million pairs of unsold Yeezy shoes have been placed, bringing in around $565 million by July 2023.
