Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) has received a contract for architect-engineering (A-E) 2013 design and construction services (DCS) from the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) based at San Antonio-Lackland, Texas joint airbase, the company said.
Jacobs is one of 18 firms awarded under the full and open competition.
The total program value for this indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is estimated at USD950,000,000.
The A-E13 DCS contract enables Jacobs to provide the Air Force with Title I, Title II, and other A-E services to support military construction (MILCON), military family housing (MFH), and sustainment, restoration and modernization (SRM) programs at government installations worldwide.
Jacobs is a large provider of technical, professional and construction services.
