Illinois USA-based in-flight connectivity and entertainment services provider Gogo (NASDAQ: GOGO) said it has begun offering Internet connectivity specifically to support Delta Air Lines´ flight attendants in air.
The service is available to Delta flight attendants on all Gogo equipped Delta aircraft.
At launch, Gogo´s service will give Delta´s flight attendants access to the Internet and a series of applications that enables them to better serve their passengers´ needs in flight.
The service will power a suite of Delta- and Avanade-developed applications, starting with real-time credit card validation.
Gogo offers in-flight connectivity and wireless in-flight digital entertainment solutions. Using Gogo´s products and services, passengers with Wi-Fi enabled devices can get online on more than 1,900 Gogo equipped commercial aircraft.
