AAZZUR, a leader in embedded financial services, has been selected for Mastercard Start Path’s New Networks program—part of Mastercard’s global initiative to support and scale fintech companies.
Through this collaboration, AAZZUR will explore ways to enhance payment experiences using embedded finance, making it easier for businesses to integrate financial services efficiently.
Accelerating Embedded Finance Adoption
AAZZUR specializes in enabling startups, enterprises, and financial service providers to offer banking, payment, and wealth management solutions without the complexity of building them from scratch. Traditional embedded finance projects often take up to 18 months to launch, with an average of 7 months required once an embedded finance provider is engaged, according to research by Aperture.
By leveraging a modular approach and pre-integrated technology, AAZZUR has dramatically shortened this timeline—helping businesses go live in as little as three months. This speed not only reduces development costs but also allows companies to unlock new revenue streams faster, setting a new industry benchmark for efficiency.
“It has always been a dream of mine to build a company and a great team, working in finance, with a bit of a knack for IT — it’s a natural match,” says Philipp Buschmann, CEO of AAZZUR. “My vision for the future is ubiquity: embedded finance everywhere, AI everywhere and a whole recontextualization of what the future looks like for business.”
Collaboration with Mastercard
With support from the Start Path programme and access to Mastercard’s extensive ecosystem and expertise, AAZZUR aims to revolutionise how businesses integrate financial services into their platforms and expand its impact across sectors such as travel, hospitality, and SME banking.
