With a potential total value of £100 million over a decade, this agreement underscores Vinci Facilities’ commitment to delivering high-quality services.
The new contract is valued at £10 million annually, initially set for five years, with an option to extend for another five years. This flexible structure allows for sustained service delivery and ongoing enhancement of facilities under Vinci’s management.
Under the terms of the contract, Vinci Facilities will oversee an array of management services. These include hard facilities management such as planned and reactive maintenance, as well as soft facilities management like cleaning, grounds maintenance, and pest control. Furthermore, the contract encompasses energy and environmental management, demonstrating a comprehensive approach to maintaining facility standards.
Vinci Facilities is also charged with providing specialist services, including asbestos management and CDM (Construction Design and Management) advice, along with site-specific management that includes traveller sites. Such detailed and varied responsibilities highlight the complexity and breadth of services Vinci is set to deliver under this contract.
Paul Cottam, Managing Director at Vinci Facilities, expressed confidence in the partnership, noting the company’s deep knowledge and experience in the local authority sector. He stated, “Local authority is a key growth sector for us. We have detailed knowledge and experience in this field, and we very much look forward to further strengthening our relationship with LCC.”
