In a recent collaboration, Don-Bur has manufactured 33 bespoke rigid box bodies for Holland & Barrett, offering a unique personal touch to each vehicle. Significantly, each vehicle is associated with a Holland & Barrett employee, and the staff have the privilege to adorn the truck cabs with their names or that of a family member. This initiative underscores a deep commitment to employee recognition within the company.
The fleet comprises 31 units mounted on the latest Scania P280 high roof sleeper cabs and two additional units fitted to Mercedes Atego models. This diverse selection reflects a strategic choice intended to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. The vehicles are designed with heavy-duty specifications, incorporating colour impregnated GRP panels, reinforced Anchorfix, and powder-coated aluminium extrusions to ensure durability and longevity.
A significant feature of these vehicles is the 1,500kg Dhollandia retractable tail-lift which comes with dual controls on both sides at the rear to facilitate ease of loading at high street locations. This detail is indicative of the thought put into accommodating the specific logistical needs of Holland & Barrett, thereby enhancing their operational workflow.
