In a strategic move, Panther Logistics, renowned for its expertise in two-person delivery, has been rebranded as AIT Home Delivery. This change aligns with the wider ambitions of AIT Worldwide Logistics, which acquired Panther in 2020, and is part of a concerted effort to broaden its European footprint. The rebranding is poised to strengthen AIT’s presence as a leader in specialist delivery solutions within the UK market.
The transition to AIT Home Delivery is designed to enhance service offerings and expand operational capacity. Panther will continue its trajectory of growth, leveraging this rebranding to offer enhanced two-person delivery services across Europe. This strategic initiative is expected to not only consolidate its market position but also facilitate the integration of freight forwarding solutions tailored to retailers’ diverse requirements.
Leadership at AIT Home Delivery expressed enthusiasm about the path forward. Vaughan Moore, AIT’s chairman and chief executive, emphasised that the rebrand would firmly establish the company’s leadership in the delivery sector. His vision extends to offering AIT’s globally recognised first and middle mile services to UK customers while pursuing expansion opportunities across European territories.
AIT Vice President Gary McKelvey has articulated a sense of continuity and advancement for the company. Maintaining that it is ‘business as usual,’ McKelvey assures stakeholders that Panther has been delivering top-tier two-person, next-day and final-mile home delivery services since 2010. The newly branded entity aims to define itself further by offering seamless logistics solutions that cater to importing firms delivering directly to UK consumers’ homes.
The rebranding initiative marks a significant stride in Panther Logistics’ evolution, aligning with AIT’s expansive European strategy.
