Irish Freight Solutions, led by managing director James Wood, has established a significant presence in logistics services to Ireland since its inception in 2019. Achieving a turnover of £11 million in 2023, IFS has rapidly grown from a start-up to a key market player. The company’s commitment to the partnership reflects its confidence in SSO Logistics’ capabilities and the synergistic alignment of their business visions.
Similarly, Allied Fleet Services has positioned itself as a leading customs service provider in Ireland following its launch in 2017. Managing Director Stephen McAneney emphasises that the cultural and strategic alignment with SSO was a significant factor in the decision to partner, promising reduced import costs through this collaboration.
The partnership is set amidst a backdrop of continuous expansion for SSO Logistics. The company recently invested over £500,000 in a new warehouse facility in Widnes, creating 20 jobs. Furthermore, a three-year contract with Venturepak to service a new production facility in Manchester underscores SSO’s growth trajectory and commitment to long-term service excellence.
