Synergix Logistics Solutions, a member of the Pall-Ex and Fortec networks, has relocated its operations from Iver, Buckinghamshire, to a more expansive site in Reading’s Suttons Business Park. This strategic move accommodates the company’s ongoing growth, offering approximately 47,000 square feet of bespoke warehousing and office space. The new location also boasts a yard twice the size of the previous site, facilitating the handling of more vehicles simultaneously, thereby expediting cross-dock activities.
A notable aspect of the relocation is the significant investment in sustainability, as evidenced by the installation of more than 250 solar panels on the facility’s roof. This commitment not only enhances the site’s energy efficiency but also substantially reduces Synergix’s carbon footprint, aligning with broader environmental goals.
The site’s advantageous position just off Junction 10 of the M4 provides strategic distribution links into central London and across the South of England, ensuring efficient logistics operations. In tandem with the move, Synergix has augmented its fleet to support increased pallet network activities, incorporating six new vehicles. With a total of 34 vehicles now operational across its two sites, these additions underscore the company’s dedication to sustainability, featuring vehicles compliant with 2024 DVS regulations and powered by Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO).
Anthony Champness, Director and co-owner, articulates the rationale behind the move: ‘To keep pace with our growth and ensure we can provide our customers and staff with the very best services and facilities, we have relocated our head office to Suttons Business Park in Reading.’ He emphasises the importance of choosing reliable suppliers to maintain exceptional service standards, particularly in pallet network services, dedicated loads, and same-day deliveries.
The relocation and expansion signify Synergix’s commitment to growth, sustainability, and enhanced service delivery.
