In an effort to enhance their trade relations within the UK, Azamara orchestrated a Seminar at Sea event, inviting thirty agents for an immersive experience aboard the Azamara Quest. This initiative aimed to strengthen agent familiarity with the brand’s offerings and operational ethos.
Over the span of three days, agents engaged in a blend of training sessions and brand immersion exercises while sailing on the ‘Cities of Western Med’ itinerary. Departing from Livorno and culminating in Marseille, these sessions provided first-hand experience of Azamara’s unique service approach, encompassing details about the cruise fare inclusions and shore-side activities.
Stuart Pearce, Head of Trade Sales UK and Ireland for Azamara, commented on the success of the event, stating: “It’s been a fantastic few days and an absolute pleasure to welcome agents from all around the British Isles to sail with us. We know that firsthand experience, a thorough understanding of the product, and personal connections are all powerful sales tools, and we’re sure that following this event, our agent partners will feel more confident and better equipped than ever to sell Azamara.” This highlights the importance Azamara places on direct knowledge and personal engagement as facets of their trade strategy.
The Seminar at Sea saw participation from representatives of Azamara’s largest accounts, alongside independent agents, all hosted by Azamara’s UK sales team, including prominent figures such as Stuart Pearce, strategic account sales manager Nikki Singleton, and business development manager Adam Morris. This event is part of a broader strategy, following the recent launch of a new trade loyalty platform earlier in the year, reinforcing Azamara’s commitment to nurturing strong trade connections.
Azamara’s Seminar at Sea underscored its dedication to fostering robust trade relationships through direct engagement and training.
