Jennifer Day has been brought on board as the Chief Growth Officer. Her professional background includes a tenure at Sky as managing director and senior vice president of Sky Digital and Now TV UK and Ireland. Her prior role as group customer management director at Shop Direct, now known as the Very Group, highlights her capability in driving customer demand and crafting a comprehensive guest experience across all Awaze brands, which include well-known names such as Hoseasons, cottages.com, and Novasol. Day expressed her enthusiasm about her new role, stating, “I’m extremely excited about joining the Awaze team to help lead our ambitious plans for growth. We have a passionate and dedicated team and exciting roadmap ahead of us.” Her objective is to transform market strategies and optimise revenue potential while ensuring a superior end-to-end guest experience.
Gavin Shetly assumes the role of Chief Technology Officer, bringing his vast expertise from his previous roles at the Global Fashion Group, Ikea, and Paddy Power Betair. His focus at Awaze will be on leveraging the commercial benefits of the company’s common web platform and driving ongoing innovation. Shetly expressed his long-standing interest in Awaze’s business evolution, noting the considerable potential for further development, “I’d been tracking Awaze and the evolution of its business for several years. There’s so much potential for further development and I am delighted to be joining the team.”
