Julie Morrison has taken on the role of property partner at Bevan Brittan’s Leeds office, a move that coincides with the firm’s efforts to bolster their presence within the UK legal market. Comprehensive real estate expertise is expected from Morrison, who has accrued over two decades of experience prior to joining Bevan Brittan.
She is set to focus on property matters involving various NHS bodies and the Welsh Education Partnership, known as WEPCo. This position will have her working closely with Rob Harrison, Bevan Brittan’s newly instated head of property, in handling the firm’s expanding roster of clients who seek comprehensive legal advice and support in property transactions.
Prior to her current appointment, Morrison was part of Eversheds, where she gained recognition for advising prominent investors, retailers, and corporate clientele. As part of her previous role, she dealt with transactions across the full real estate spectrum, including acquisitions, disposals, intricate landlord-tenant negotiations, and development projects.
Her integration into Bevan Brittan’s Leeds office marks another significant phase as the firm celebrates surpassing 100 colleagues. Earlier this year, the firm also celebrated the promotion of nine employees, reinforcing its commitment to internal growth and advancement.
