Rollits LLP recently announced the promotions of two promising individuals, Millie Bird and Molly Bloom, in their York office. Each has followed a unique path into the legal profession. Millie Bird, who joined Rollits in 2021 as a paralegal within the property team, has now been elevated to the dispute resolution department. Her journey from paralegal to solicitor showcases the potential for career growth within the firm, having commenced her training contract in March 2023 and steadily advancing through the company’s ranks.
Molly Bloom, on the other hand, became acquainted with Rollits through the firm’s summer work experience programme back in 2019. Following this introduction to legal practice, she began her training contract in 2022 and has now secured a role within the firm’s employment law team. This pathway highlights the firm’s commitment to offering diverse opportunities for those keen to pursue a legal career through experiential learning.
Both Bird and Bloom possess impressive academic backgrounds that have undoubtedly contributed to their professional accomplishments. Bird, educated at George Pindar School and Scarborough Sixth Form College, graduated with first-class honours from the University of Law in Leeds in 2019. She further completed the legal practice course with distinction in the subsequent year. Bloom, also a high achiever, attended Longcroft School and achieved a first-class law degree from the University of Hull in 2021, subsequently earning an MSc in business management with distinction before completing her LPC at the University of Law in Leeds.
