WBR Group, in a substantial business manoeuvre, has acquired NM Perris & Co, known in the market as Brunel Trustees. This acquisition is set to enhance WBR Group’s management capacity, with the addition of 200 small self-administered schemes (SSAS), marking a significant growth in its operational portfolio.
With this strategic acquisition, WBR Group’s assets under administration now witness an impressive augmentation by £300 million. This not only amplifies their financial management scales but also reinforces their position within the industry as a robust entity in SSAS administration.
The acquisition deal, which also encompasses Brunel Trustees Limited and Omniphi Systems, brings an additional operational office in Bristol under WBR Group’s management. This geographical expansion enables WBR to better serve its clients and stakeholders, broadening its service capabilities and accessibility.
Brunel Trustees has a dedicated focus on administrating SSAS and is recognised for its specialised services. All six employees of Brunel Trustees, including its directors, will become part of the WBR Group, thereby ensuring that the quality and expertise of services remain steadfast during and after the transition period. Meanwhile, five employees focused on self-invested personal pension (SIPP) will transition to Cabot, maintaining their professional roles within the industry framework.
This acquisition marks a strategic enhancement for WBR Group’s administration capabilities and geographic reach, solidifying its industry standing.
