Viva Cruises is set to enhance its fleet with the launch of its third new-build vessel, the Viva Enjoy, which is expected to set sail in September 2024. This strategic expansion reflects the company’s response to growing customer demand. The Viva Enjoy will primarily focus on the Danube, with itineraries available from September to December 2024, and bookings can already be made online.
The current fleet of Viva Cruises comprises the Viva One and Viva Two, which were introduced in the years 2022 and 2023 respectively. The Viva Enjoy will embark on its initial 12-night journey on 22 September 2024, travelling from Frankfurt to Vienna, indicating a potential broadening of its cruising repertoire to cater to its expanding client base.
Mirroring the design of Viva Two, the new vessel aims to provide a consistent experience across the fleet. It boasts 95 cabins that can accommodate up to 190 passengers, and the inclusion of three restaurants, open-plan lounges, a sun deck, and a fitness and wellness area showcases the focus on passenger comfort and leisure.
Andrea Kruse, the Chief Operating Officer of Viva Cruises, expressed enthusiasm regarding the rapid growth of the company over the past five years. She noted, “We have grown very quickly in the last five years, as has our customer base and the demand for cruises on the Danube.” The addition of Viva Enjoy underscores the company’s strategy to enhance its service offerings by providing a broader range of travel options along this scenic river, which is popular with international audiences.
The vessel will offer a selection of itineraries lasting four, five, and seven nights, with prices starting from £650 per person, thus catering to a diverse range of traveller preferences and budgets. This development signifies Viva Cruises’ commitment to expanding its market presence and meeting the evolving demands of river cruise enthusiasts.
Viva Enjoy’s introduction marks a significant step in Viva Cruises’ expansion, reinforcing its commitment to enhancing its offerings on the Danube.
