The Visit USA Association (UK) is opening its doors to the entirety of the UK’s travel trade with a series of informative webinars. These sessions, scheduled for every Tuesday at 2pm from September 17, are designed to provide comprehensive insights into travelling across the United States. Each webinar will be hosted by a different member of the Association, showcasing the diverse opportunities available within the US tourism sector.
Kate Kenward, the Chief Executive of the Visit USA Association (UK), has emphasized the inclusivity of this initiative. She stated, “The webinars are not just for Visit USA members but for the UK industry at large. Reservations staff will obviously benefit, but sales, marketing, PRs, and media will also find them extremely useful.” This move is aimed at equipping professionals with the necessary information to promote and manage US travel effectively.
The initial webinar will be led by travel app Vamoos, setting the stage for subsequent sessions featuring representatives from significant US destinations and attractions. The agenda includes noteworthy names such as New York’s Summit One Vanderbilt and states like Alabama, all geared towards providing detailed knowledge and enhancing the sales capabilities of UK travel operators.
Future webinars planned for the coming weeks promise an array of exciting destinations, including Florida’s Space Coast, Los Angeles, Orlando, and the iconic Rockefeller Center. As outlined by Kenward, the aim is for the travel trade to invest a small portion of their week to gain a broader understanding of what the US has to offer, thereby facilitating better sales and promotional strategies.
