Universal Avionics (UA) has announced it has appointed aerospace industry veteran Franc Mendes as Airline Business Development Manager, the company said.
Based out of Phoenix, Arizona (USA), Franc is responsible for introducing UA´s product line including the ClearVision Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS) to the airline market. Additionally, Franc will support UA´s Flight Department as a demonstration pilot for the company´s Gulfstream G-III aircraft.
Franc joins UA with over 24 years of experience in the aerospace industry. Most recently, Franc served in the position of Technical and Safety Pilot for the Boeing Company in Shanghai, China.
