Turicum Private Bank (“Turicum”), a privately held institution specialising in banking and wealth management, has announced the acquisition of a substantial stake in Hassium Asset Management (“Hassium”), a respected wealth management firm.
The agreement marks Turicum’s first strategic move into the UK market, reflecting the bank’s wider ambitions to expand its international footprint. Both organisations bring extensive experience in delivering bespoke investment and asset management solutions. Turicum’s proficiency in regulatory governance, compliance, and risk oversight complements Hassium’s deep knowledge of global markets and active investment strategies—creating a partnership designed to enhance client offerings and extend global reach.
In keeping with both firms’ commitment to personal client relationships, existing investment mandates will remain unchanged, with the same teams and relationship managers continuing their day-to-day oversight. This milestone partnership, however, will allow clients access to a broader spectrum of banking services and advisory expertise, backed by expanded resources.
Andreas Businger, CEO and Executive Director of Turicum Private Bank, said:
“This partnership represents an exciting landmark for Turicum, as our first physical presence in the UK and part of our long-term vision. Hassium’s experience and long-standing reputation, with its focus on offering independent, trusted advice based on personal relationships, aligns perfectly with Turicum’s own ethical values. We are confident that Yogi and his team will strengthen and increase the value we offer all our clients and look forward to expanding our reach in London and the UK in the coming years as we develop our tailored solutions to a broader range of clients looking to safeguard and grow their wealth.”
Yogi Dewan, CEO and founder of Hassium Asset Management, added:
“As founder of Hassium, I feel great comfort knowing that Hassium has found a strategic partner that shares our professional values and provides new synergies. Joining Turicum grants us access to more resources, support and capital particularly in the areas of compliance, operations and technology from which all our clients will ultimately benefit, and we are excited to embark on this new partnership.”
BDO LLP acted as financial adviser to Turicum Private Bank, with legal support from Archer, Evrard and Sigurdsson LLP. Hassium Asset Management was advised by Farrer & Co.
