TFG London, the company behind respected fashion and homeware brands such as Hobbs, Whistles, and Phase Eight, is preparing to launch its largest store to date at the prominent Liverpool One shopping centre. The flagship store is set to open next spring, situated on South John Street, and will cover an impressive 12,000 square feet.
Customers can look forward to an extensive collection of luxury fashion pieces, including Phase Eight’s occasionwear and Whistles’ contemporary womenswear, as well as specialist collections such as bridal and petite ranges. Alongside fashion offerings, the store will feature a luxury styling suite designed to cater to event shoppers with head-to-toe outfit suggestions for various occasions.
Complementing the fashion departments, the flagship will also house Inside Story’s homewares section. This department promises a diverse selection of soft furnishings and accessories, aiming to provide a comprehensive range of products under one roof.
TFG London’s strategy to open larger stores in prime shopping destinations is driven by the significant customer base these locations attract. Caraline Money, TFG global retail director, stated, ‘Our new store strategy is focused on opening bigger and better stores in prominent shopping destinations like Liverpool where we have built a loyal ever-growing customer base.’
This expansion initiative is backed by a substantial £90m refinancing package, recently agreed upon in April. The refinancing not only replaces an existing £60m debt facility but also secures an additional £30m, which is pivotal in supporting TFG’s growth strategy. The company emphasised that this financial manoeuvre is crucial for facilitating further investments and acquisitions, both domestically and internationally, underscoring a commitment to robust strategic expansion.
The launch of TFG London’s flagship store at Liverpool One epitomises a bold step in realising its expansive growth ambitions.
