Soft drinks manufacturer Suntory Beverage & Food’s UK division has announced the promotion of Elise Seibold to the position of Chief Operating Officer, effective from 1 November. In tandem with her appointment, Seibold will also become a member of the executive committee for Suntory Beverage & Food Europe, further indicating her integral role within the organisation’s regional strategy.
Seibold’s journey with Suntory began in 2004 when she joined as the Schweppes assistant brand manager. Over the subsequent years, she climbed the ranks, taking on various international roles within the brand marketing, commercial, and innovation sectors across the company. Her long-standing association with Suntory underscores a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the company’s operational ethos.
In her most recent role as marketing director for the UK and Ireland, Seibold demonstrated her capacity for leadership by overseeing several impactful initiatives. Noteworthy among these were the strategic development of the Lucozade masterbrand and the enhancement of its engagement with the football sector. Additionally, she spearheaded the relaunch of the Ribena ‘Berries’ campaign, a testimony to her prowess in managing brand repositioning in competitive markets.
